This is a documentary we just completed for the DEX Fashion Show Fundraiser at Endicott College. It is an inspirational story about the human spirit and what someone can overcome with a positive attitude. The documentary focuses on Will Archibald, who was in a serious motorcycle accident last May, leaving him paralyzed from his waist down.
We would love to hear feedback about the documentary. We hope to tell many more stories, similar to Will’s, in the near future. The piece is about 7 minutes long. I hope you all enjoy. Thank you!
Hey everyone! We have just reached a personal milestone of 250 Facebook fans on our Lasting Memories Videotaping page. We want to thank everyone who has joined. If you haven’t become a fan yet, just type Lasting Memories Videotaping in the search bar on the upper right hand corner of Facebook. You can’t miss us.
We are going to use the Facebook fan page so everyone can keep up to date with the progress of our videos. So after we film your wedding, you can just keep checking the page for an update status of where we are in the post-production. We think it’s a cool feature.
Mandy & Jeff got married on October 2, 2009. It was a picture perfect day for everyone involved. Mandy’s dress glistened near by the beautiful foliage, while her and her Jeff were taking their first pictures as husband and wife. After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Coastal House which was full of great food and even better dancing. Congratulations to Mandy & Jeff. May your life be full of love and happiness.
The last few weeks have been very exciting for us. We continue to receive a number of inquires about our availability this wedding season. Dates are going fast! We recommend setting up a no-obligation consultation at your earliest convenience so you can see a full example of our work and you can ask us any questions you want. Even if you are up in the air for what services you want at your wedding, you can still set up a consultation in order for us to hold your date. There is no commitment. No down deposit. It’s just the two of us showing our work to you.
Please feel free to contact us with any further questions.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you!
So far, I have gained great hands-on experience since joining Lasting Memories Productions last November. The excitement. The interaction. The deadlines. I have been taking it all in stride. My favorite part of the job is meeting with the bride and groom to discuss their wedding day. Every couple brings freshness to the job. Their enthusiasm is contagious and it forces me to work hard with them to create a video that truly captures their wedding day.
Before jumping on board with Jamie, I was working in Washington DC as a crew production assistant with MTV’s The Real World. Recently, the show has begun airing on MTV (Wednesday nights at 10 p.m.) and it has brought back all kinds of memories from last summer. The everyday observations I was able to make have helped me with my own filming abilities. I was able to ask our main cameraman technical questions about “framing shots” and “using the lens”. One co-worker once told me, “Sometimes you only get one chance to get that great shot. And when it comes, you have to be ready.” I will be.
Not only did that job give me the technical aspects of filmmaking, but mental aspects as well. I had the opportunity to work with a great director who taught me the importance of telling a story through film. Storytelling is why I got into this business. I want to be able to tell people’s story through the art of filmmaking; and what better story to tell than that of two people getting married?
Today I have the chance to pick up the camera and tell the story of a bride and groom’s wedding day. I have the chance to get that great shot that they will someday show their grandkids. It is an outstanding responsibility that I take seriously.
I look forward to beginning this decade with Lasting Memories Productions and working with you in the near future.
Janna & Ryan were married on September 19th in Ogunquit with the Reception at The Red Barn in Berwick. We first met Janna and Ryan at the Maine Wedding Association Bridal Show and looked forward to their wedding as they were phenomenal to work with. They selected a few enhancements to the video including rehearsal dinner coverage and we also put together a photo montage of the both of them growing up and leading up to their Big Day and showed it after dinner. It was a big hit! It was evident from the rehearsal that this was truly going to be quite the celebration. Hopefully you enjoy your Wedding Video for years to come. To anyone who was there feel free to leave a comment, we’d love to hear your thoughts about the wedding or the Highlight Segment! Congratulations to Janna and Ryan and we wish them the best of luck in their marriage. If there is anything we can ever do for you guys please don’t hesitate to contact us! It was a pleasure working with you!
Katie & Ryan were married on September 6th, 2009 at York Harbor Inn. The Maine Coast provided for the perfect backdrop and once again the Maine weather cooperated beautifully. From the genuine emotion in their vows, to the candid shots prior to the ceremony,to the beautifully arranged floral displays set against the back drop of the Atlantic Ocean this was another absolutely wondersful wedding to produce. We would like to thank Katie and Ryan for allowing us to capture their special day and wish them both the best of luck!
Looking back at the Weddings we have done this past season one would never know that we had the wettest Wedding Season on record here in Maine. Trish and Dave’s Wedding was another picture perfect day. The ceremony and reception took place at the Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport which made for a picturesque backdrop for their Wedding Day. From Trish’s entrance aboard the Pineapple Express, to the outdoor ceremony, to a spirited version of the Hora, this was another great wedding. If you attended the wedding feel free to let us know what you thought. We would like to thank Trish and Dave for letting us be a part of their big day and we wish them a long, happy and healthy marriage! Enjoy this quick recap of your day from start to finish. Congratulations!
Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding as we welcomed our second son to the family over the weekend. Finally we have some of Jessica and Jason’s Wedding Video that we can share. The segment we have included above was taken as Jessica prepared for her big day. The details in this wedding were unbelievable. From the beautiful flowers that decorated the Cathedral, to the cake and cupcakes made by Jessica, to the Candy Bar that we showed in our previous post. It was a great wedding and another fantastic celebration. We wish Jessica and Jason the best and look forward to working with Jessica’s sister, Sarah and her fiance Rich as they prepare for their Wedding next September!
We are currently in the process of producing Jessica and Jason’s Wedding Video but as I am putting it together I was reminded of the amazing Candy Display that they had set up for this wedding. Don’t get me wrong there were a bunch of highlights in this Wedding and we will post the Highlight Segment as soon as it is finished but I figured I would share with everyone, this incredible ode to all things Candy. It was a huge hit!!! Check back for Jessica and Jason’s Highlight Segment coming soon.
